Welcome to the South East Area IDTA Website

Hello everyone. As Chairman of the South East Area I have much pleasure in welcoming you to the Area website. If you have just qualified as a member I offer you my warmest congratulations and wish you a long and happy involvement with the IDTA.

As an Area we organise lecture days or workshops for our members three times during the year at which we cover most of the Ballroom Branch subjects at least once. We also run Medallist Competitions for all age groups in Ballroom, Latin American, Sequence,Freestyle and Street at which Nationwide Heats are also held. Please watch your copy of Dance International or see the information posted on the website for details of dates for all of these events together with contact addresses for further information.

Every May we hold a dinner/dance. Again details of this are available on the website which is updated regularly.

Please come and join us at one of our events as we are always happy to see and welcome new faces. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know anyone – I can guarantee that you soon will. Come and introduce yourself to me and I will make sure that there is someone to make you feel at home.
